This week was amazing!
On Monday, to pass the time
productively, Elder Southway, the sister missionaries in our ward and myself
took up painting. It really was fun.
Tuesday, we went down to
Foley for district meeting. That is such a great district! We have awesome
missionaries here. That afternoon we went on an exchange with the english
elders of Foley. Elder Stilson and I had a great time working the city of Foley
over.
Wednesday, we were up early
to head to Navarre, Florida to exchange vehicles. We gave up our Chevy Malibu
for a new Toyota Tacoma. A very nice upgrade!
We returned to Foley to do
another exchange with the Foley Spanish Elders. This was super cool. I went
with Elder Meidlinger, we had some pretty funny contacts. We got bashed by a
Hispanic Pentecostal I was standing there not having any idea what was
going on but I could tell we were getting bashed haha. Elder Meidlinger was so
confused on what just happened haha it was so funny.
Thursday, I was back with
Elder Southway. We had a busy day taking care of a ton of chores and making
plans. In the evening we had yet another exchange with the elders from
Theodore, Alabama. It was a fun night.
Friday, I went to work with
Elder Farnsworth. We had some cool tracting experiences. We prayed to know
where to go that day and felt like we should go to the park. Later when we went
we found this lady and shared the Book of Mormon with her. She was super excited
when I told her how the Bible Prophesied of the Book or mormon in Ezekiel. She
was really interested. Later that night she texted us and told us that she was
praying earlier that morning for direction. she already went to that park once
that morning but she felt drawn to go to it again. She said she knows we were
sent by God. She came to church yesterday and loved it! She is so excited to
learn more! She was a miracle find!
Saturday, we started with
service loading a moving truck. The rest of the day was very productive and we
got a ton of little things done. In the evening we had a great lesson with our
investigator, Hunter. He is so prepared and anxiously engaged! In the evening
we went to the church and had a huge volleyball game with a big group of
people.
Sunday was phenomenal.
She came to church on Sunday and loved it! She is so awesome. She has so much
potential in front of her. We are looking forward to working with her. This
Sunday was the primary program in the Daphne Ward. The children did such a
fantastic job. The taught us how simple the gospel is. It is so simple a child
can perfectly understand it and share about it. There was so much love in the
room. The spirit was so strong. The rest of church was great. Very uplifting
and very productive.
This week we were all over
the place with chores and exchanges. This week is going to be quieter for us.
We are doing super well. Successes are falling into our laps. This is the
blessing for diligence, steadfastness, and perseverance.
Love, Elder Graham
