So this week has gone by so fast! It's been full of crazy adventures and cool experiences.
Tuesday- Got up early got ready and ran over to Dunkin Donuts, grabbed about two dozen donuts and drove 45 min to District meeting down in Foley. So got District meeting at 10am and had some cool training. After District meeting I went on an exchange with the Spanish Elders down in foley. The Spanish Elders are in a Trio so I went with Elder Valentine and my companion went with Elder Meidlinger and Elder Loose. (I'm glad I don't have any crazy last names like them.) LOL. So Elder Valentine and I got on the bikes. We went probably about 5 miles? Got Bashed by a hispanic who spoke english. It's crazy how you can prove to people out of their own Bibles about the restored gospel. But i'm not here to bash so we just Testified and went on our way. As we were biking back home Alabama decided to dump buckets of rain on us. Like this was the hardest I've ever seen it rain here. So after Biking back 5 miles and going through some mud piles, we get home soaking wet and look at the back of our shirts they have just mud all over them from the bike tire spraying it all on our backs. hahahha it was soooo funny! We just laughed and were actually so grateful because the rain made the temperature go down a little but not much haha usually it makes it worse but the breeze helped. We had a great time contacting people and biking in the rain.
Wednesday- We went on an Exchange with the Foley English Elders. So I went went Elder Durfee but this time we took them up to our area in Daphne Alabama. We Decided to go "Service Tracting." You might ask what's that? Well what we did is we got some rakes from members and just started going door to door cleaning everyone's yards. Picking up all the leftover trash from Hurricane Nate. Elder Durfee and I stopped at this lady's house and just asked her if we could clean her yard. She told us we could and she explained how her dad is in his 80s and he just got out of the Hospital because he broke all his right side of his ribs and now he's cant do a lot. So during our service to them she comes back out and tells me, "thank you so much for what you have done. My mom wanted me to come out and tell you she said thank you! She is in there crying right now from the service that you are giving them, she feels this burden lifted from her. So thank you." That feeling has not left me, the feeling of charity. Charity is the pure love of Christ. Her heart was soften and she now wants to learn more about the Gospel. I don't tell yall this because i've done something good, but I tell yall this because these are the moments i'll strive to never forget and the life lessons i've learned from serving others. It's so amazing to feel that selfless service and the impact it has on others.
Thursday- Nothing crazy happened this day. It was our weekly planning day where we plan out our following week. I also created a weekly planning Guide for all the missionaries. That was pretty cool to make, other than that not much happened other than being exhausted.
Friday- We got up and went and did service until like 1pm. Then came back showered and a member took us out to a steakhouse for lunch. We then later had a great lesson with one of our investigators but we ended up teaching his mom, which was really cool because she was very interested.
Saturday- GREAT DAY! We went to a British Car Festival which was so much fun. We talked to a lot of people and also got to see a lot of cool cars! We then drove down to Gulf Shores where there was a huge Shrimp Festival. It was so packed we had to pay for parking. Probably about 20,000 -40,000 people at the beach. It was crazy hot and everyone liked how we were dressed up haha. We didn't leave there until later in the day and it felt like I was in LA traffic... We then went to Brother and Sister Asberrys home for dinner and they fed us GUMBO! Ugh it was soo good. We had a great time at their home and then we took off to the church. Sometimes I feel like I live at the church haha. We didn't leave the church until about 9pm that night. We had to set up all the chairs and do some administrative stuff.
Sunday- It was a great sunday, we had a great sacrament meeting. Some members took our picture with their family and sent it to my mom so I hope you liked that. We then had our investigators show up to second hour, which was a great surprise. After church a boy got baptized and it was awesome because his older brother baptized him. We went later on in the day to another church. One of our investigators church. Its called City Hope church. It was cool, their service was like a concert it was really interesting, super nice people but it was some interesting sermons. That was pretty much our day.
I am so grateful for all the support yall give me! It really means a lot to me. I hope yall have a great week! PS I'm so jealous of vegas right now because it's cold there but today is pretty cool so i'm blessed for that.

Love,
Elder Graham
