Okay so the reason why I didn't email home yesterday was because we had a zone conference so we moved p-day to Tuesday just for this week. SOOOO yesterday at zone conference we had a world wide mission conference. They basically changed the missionary daily schedule. WE NO LONGER PLAN AT NIGHT, ONLY IN THE MORNINGS!!!! I AM SOOOO HAPPY! Now all we do is come home at 9pm and get ready for bed and write in our journals and then go to bed. SO we could go to bed at 9:30 if we wanted to so we could even get 9 hours of sleep. Sorry Melissa you missed out on the extra sleep by a couple months hahah SO the Apostles and First Presidency Approved the schedule change. So for P-days we get up at 6:30 get ready eat breakfast, plan, and study until 8 am. which before we would just get up exercise, eat, get ready, study for 60 mins personal study than an additional 60 min of companionship study and we would get done by 10 am. So now we have more time on p-days to email do laundry and everything else.
Get this Melissa and anyone else who has served a mission. They changed the Key Indicators. we no longer report the 9 key indicators. We now only report and focus on 4 of them. This is in efforts to have us focus on the investigators needs instead of focusing on other lessons and numbers.
ALSO BIG NEWS!!!! On Feb. 18th the entire mission is meeting in Tallahassee for a conference with an APOSTLE who will speaking to us!! Gary E. Stevenson is coming to speak to us! WE are all so excited! so we have to make a long like 5 hour drive to tally haha
This week has been interesting we taught like 14 lessons we made a goal to teach 15 lessons and we came short by 1!! Its okay though we have 5 investigators with a baptismal date so we are super excited and the work here is going great!! I love all of you and yall are always in my prayers! I Hope yall are having a great week so far!
Quick little story, so it has been cold here in Pensacola and so we went to teach a lesson at this trailer park and I had a jacket on but Elder Christensen didn't so our investigator goes inside grabs this football jacket and gives it to him haha it didn't smell good but he was trying sooo hard to like find away to not wear this jacket. sooo I took it upon myself to have some fun and keep my companion warm. So I started listing all these reasons why he needs this jacket and this black lady is just like yup! Amen! see your welcome elder you needed this, your companion is right! hahahha I was trying not to laugh so hard hahha we walked away almost in tears haha
